the Mad Hatter Plate which came with French toast layered underneath diced ham, bacon, crumbled breakfast sausage, roasted red potatoes and sautéed onions. The place is themes as Alice In Wonderland with painted walls and decorations in the theme which was quite appealing. I was thinking of getting a taste from the bakery when I looked at the menu and decided to have lunch instead. I suggest that you visit their web site first to look at the menu selection and pricing to see it a place you think you’d like to visit. This is a nice place to have a breakfast, lunch or brunch. One in particular close by is the Parkleigh, a very interesting gift shop. It is located in an area that has some shops that you can walk to. Upon entering and leaving one notices a large assortment of baked treats for sale. I forgot her name, but the name printed on the receipt was Kayleigh AĪll in all, the restaurant is well run and the people there are nice. The server was very efficient and seemed to care about the service that’s she provided. I included a picture of my combo in this review.Īfter ordering we did wait a bit for the food to arrive, but I noticed the place was very busy.Įveryone enjoyed their selections. Pancakes could be substituted for the French toast. I chose something called the Combo, French toast, eggs and choice of meet. No one I was with had difficulty choosing. There were plenty of choices for everyone. Breakfast was listed one side, lunch on the other. The tea was brought in a fancy flowered teapot accompanied with verbal instruction on how to steep it. The replacement coffee arrived very soon after that. She asked for hotter coffee, we were told that a new pot was being brewed. The first cup of coffee that arrived for my wife was not very hot. Others in my party chose coffee and teas. The plain water was brought to me in a tall glass with Ice, wonderful for me. I believe that a cucumber is botanically a fruit. I eventually asked for water without a fruit in it. Thank goodness, I thought it might have been the taste of the metal cup. The water tasted odd, so I looked at the bottom of the carafe and there was a slice of cucumber at the bottom. Metal cups (see picture in this review) were supplied as drinking cups. I put my foot on one leg and kept it there to solve the issue.ĭrinks were ordered and received promptly. Our table was a bit rocky, meant it tipped a lot. Once we were all seated, we were promptly met and given menus to look over. Right now, it is quite limited depending on how busy the restaurant is. It looks like the restaurant is working to expand parking availability. We were directed to the far back lot of the building that seemed to be under construction and was being dug up for resurfacing.Ī construction worker there was very nice and showed us how and where to park. We were told we should not leave our vehicle as it may be subject to towing. asked about parking since we parked in the back of the building near an apartment. No reservations were made in advance as none are accepted as we were told when we called ahead.
